Thailand has made a decision to expand its list of countries eligible for visa-free entry. India and Taiwan are the two additional countries included in this list, and this change will be effective from November 10, 2023, to May 10, 2024.
This temporary measure aims to accommodate the high season for Taiwanese and Indian tourists, granting them a visa exemption for up to 30 days in Thailand.
The Ministry of Tourism reports that in the period from January to September 2023, Thailand welcomed 1,162,251 Indian tourists and 520,372 tourists from Taiwan, contributing to the total number of foreign tourists exceeding 20 million.
